Gingle was deeply invested in her role as Molly Lin and felt that she resonated on a personal level with the character. Her 2018 portrayal in episodes 5 and 6 of the TV series On Children was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or TV Film at the 54th Golden Bell Awards. Raised in a single-mother household, she is close to her mother while having little recollection of her father. Gingle Wang was born on February 7, 1998, in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. She has been described by the Bazaar Magazine as a rising star amongst the new generation of Taiwanese actresses.
